Hi, my name is***** a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help.
Is there a signature you could photograph?
Is the work on paper or canvas? Is it possible to photograph the back?

It doesn't appear to be signed. It's canvas glued to wood.I removed it from elegant breakfast room "French" panels that were believed to have been from Thomas Fortune Ryan's home in NYC. He was an avid Susie cote fan.

Without a signature, it can't be appraised without first being authenticated. (Appraisers are not authenticators.) Authentication would need to be done in-person, as it would require a close examination of materials and methods.
Where are you located, approximately? I can see if I can find some authentication options for you.

I'm located in the albany by area. But I'm also in NYC a few days a week.

OK. Authentication would likely need to be done in Canada.
But try talking to Doyle New York, they handle his work periodically. Or the Spanierman Gallery.
