I have an Australian presentation cup which is ornately

Customer Question

Hello I have an Australian presentation cup which is ornately decorated and inscribed, dating to 1904 - donated by Capt. P.M.Dewar (of Perth, Scotland) to the Blue Mountains (Leura) Golf Club. It is about 16 inches high and very impressive, but I cannot find a hallmark on it. In side its base are the numbers 102794 3. I fear it must be a base metal covered with silver, but would appreciate any suggestions as to where I should be looking for maker's marks etc? Thank you very much. Can I attach a pic?

Thank you Nora - I have already posted a picture. But don't bother investigating further - I know now that it is EPNS, Thanks.
