I now see where your painting is an oil. Do you know the first name or initial of the artist. There is an Otto Heinrich and a Ernst Heinrich.
Kind regards,
Doris
Expert:  Doris - dfm925 replied 1 year ago.
I believe your painting is by Otto Heinrich because he was much more prolific, painted landscapes and painted larger paintings like yours.
I will research paintings by Otto Heinrich for you.
I should be back soon.
Kind regards,
Doris

When an appraiser assess a painting, he/she must look at auction sales because the prices are public. Art gallery sales are private.
Auction results for Otto Heinrich:
35.83 x 35.83" - Historia, etc. - 9.18.14 - Sold $1789
31.8 x 42.15" - Galerie Bassenge - 11.28.13 - Sold $5170
27 x 25.59" - Bolland & Marotz - 7.10.10 - Sold $3291.
Taking into consideration the size of your painting, we need to look at the higher value range. My experience indicates that your painting has an auction value range of $4500-5500 assuming the painting is in good condition.
A retail art gallery would charge double or triple the auction sales price.
A private seller to a dealer can expect 40-60% of retail value.
I hope I have helped you.
