.
If you can tell me what pieces you have and how many of each set? Also keep in mind we normally do one item per question, and this will actually be three items per this question, which I do not mind doing, it may just take me a little longer to do this.

1. The Knowles china is 6 piece place setting with the crea and surgar
2. The Aladin is 5 plates and 5 bread and buterr
3. The Salem china is a 12 piece place setting complete.
Sorry for the three questions. I will just do one at a time from now on. Thanks for your help.
Hello,
The Edwin M. Knowles, Semi Vitreous has an estimated value on the secondary retail market for an of average of 6 piece place setting for 45.00-50.00 per place setting, Creamer-22.50, Sugar- 35.00, the Aladin- Plates- 25.00-28.50 each, Bread and Butter- 14.00 each, the Salem China 12 piece place setting complete- 650.00-725.00, prices are dependent on the condition and where it is for sale at. These will typically sell higher in an Antique Shop or Private sale compared to an auction. If you are thinking of selling, you might want to check your local Antique Shops in the area to see what yours or one like it would sell for or has sold for. As antiques and collectibles are subject in selling price to different areas across the country..( Larger Metropolitan Areas bring higher prices then Smaller Cities. )
China is selling low at the current time due to the fact that so many dealers and
collectors are selling their items so low in order to make some money during
this poor economic time. This keeps the market flooded with china, and keeps the
values down since they are derived from the most current past selling prices.
If you do not need to sell these right away I would hold onto them for awhile
until the economy picks up some.
So be sure to check your local area. This will give you an idea of what it goes for in your area, then you can decide to sell locally or at one of the online markets.
If you plan on selling this I would list this for sell on the internet where it will have the largest shopping market. There are some great sites you can sell from. You can sell in your local area or a larger city near you with Craigslist, it is free, and when they item sells the buyer picks it up. You can sell on Etsy, which is a great place to sell from, you list Vintage Items, they can stay until they sell. Much like having a little store online. There is Amazon and of course Ebay. All of these sites get you a lot of World Wide exposure and bring the best traffic. They are all great! If you sell to a dealer or antique or resell shop you can expect to get about 30-40% of what it is worth since they have to resell the item.
If I can be of any further help, please feel free contacting me, if there is a problem with my answer please feel free contacting me before leaving a negative feedback, any problem can be resolved.

Also, please rate my service to you not the price I have to report, I cannot control the value of an item, we use the most up todate data bases, references and research material. I cannot control current values.

A good feed back rating ( not, "Bad Service" or "Poor Service" ) it is very much appreciated, unless you do not feel a good feedback is warranted, then please let me know what else I can do for you, ( if anything ) to help get a good feedback by, clicking on the " Continue the Conversation Link". My good rating is very important to me and something I strive to keep.
