I have a Cobb spelling book printed in New York 1835. How much would this be worth?
Could you provide the exact title? Also, is this a soft cover book? What is the condition?
Cobb's Spelling Book, Being A Just Standard For Pronouncing The English Language
Thank you for the clarification. This is a later edition of this book - the first being printed in 1825. Your edition, in very good condition (see www.ioba.org/desc for book condition grading term descriptions) has a retail value of $20-25. In near fine condition, the book has a retail value of $25-30. The first edition sells for $35-40 in near fine condition. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Wow, thats it ? Now I have to sell the book so I can cover the cost of asking a question. I was hoping for money on this deal.
