Please help me find info about this gold trimmed trinket box and lid which has a cherub-type little boy on top. He is holding a gold painted cluster of grapes. There are no markings and the box bottom does have crazing?? on the bottom. Thanks!

Hello, Thank you for using JustAnswer/Pearl. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you with your question. What an adorable lidded trinket box or pin box. At one time it probably had a paper or foil label on the bottom telling who made it. It was most likely made in Japan for export.Trinket boxes such as this, with no chips or cracks, sell in antique shops for around $20-$25 USD.It was made in the 1950s-1960s.Please feel free to ask me additional questions on your lovely trinket box.** A rating of 3 or above is much appreciated as this is the only way I get compensated for my time and knowledge through JA/Pearl, there is no additional cost to you. If you feel the need to rate my response lower please let me know what I can do to better my answer so that you feel I warrant a higher rating.** Thank you, Michelle
