I am trying to find the value of my bedroom set. It has a dressing table with round mirror, small tapered legs (with round knob and carved vertical lines, a chiffer robe, dresser and headboard. I have pics...but other than that no clue where to start.

Good Evening,
Would you be able to attach more pictures to the conversation of the pieces. Even if it is one picture with all of the pieces that would be very helpful. Also can you give an idea of the current condition of the pieces? Is there any damage, scratches, cracks, missing pieces, etc. ?
Thanks for your time,
Frank

Sorry...I thought I had attached all of the pictures. I will send them immediately. I would say the set is in good condition. I had it refinished and it looks very nice..there are a few spots on the side of the chifferobe that feel a bit rough to the touch (although they look perfect). The only other noticed spot is a lifting of veneer on the front of one of the cabinet doors on the dressing table. No noticeable scratches or dents. ...There are also extra handles (assuming original? When the refinisher did the work he replaced the white part on the handle...it popped off. But I have extra handles. They have a patina to them, so I'm assuming he just chose not to finish them. I will try to figure out how to attach multiple pics on here. Thanks.

Hello Amber,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, You can attach pictures onto the conversation, you can upload them to a file sharing website like flickr.com or imagur.com or as a last resort you can email pictures XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX ATTN MTantiques if the others do not work. They photos usually take up to 24 hours to process but when I get them I can get you an evaluation. Is this an appraisal for resale or for an insurance value?
Thanks again,
Frank

The drawers are dovetailed but there are no stickers with manufacturer.

Thank you Amber I received your request. I will go through the furniture and do some research and try to get you a price by late tomorrow afternoon. Where are you in the country so I have an idea of what you are looking at as far as a local market?
Thanks,
Frank

Amber,
Thank you very much for your time an patience on the bedroom set. From the pictures your bedroom set appears to be Art Deco, circa 1920's. The pieces have a Philippine mahogany veneer. There are detailed carvings in the wood such as the one in the headboard. There are also carved donut like turnings at the top of each leg with a cast iron caster inserted into the feet. The set would command a higher price than just individual pieces as they are all the same maker and design. In the present condition I would value the set between 1400-1600 dollars as a fair market price. I have done much work in the mid west and I know that the economy is slow especially on furniture and that is reflected in that pricing. If you were to take this to New York or LA you would see that price likely double as those have much bigger markets and the style is very popular there.
I hope this information was helpful to you,
Thanks again for all of your time,
Best of luck with the bedroom set,
Frank
