I own two madonna portraits that I bought in Montreaux, switzerland in 1968. I had them appraised by the curator of the High Museum of Art in Atlanta in 1972, but he would only say one was from the 17th century and the other from the 18th. He would not put a dollar amount on them. I have since discovered that the one from the 18th century is a copy ( a good copy) from a large Rembrandt painting with lots of other people plus this madonna.I would like to find a way to get a general value of these two items in the near future. Could you help/direct me?
Already Tried: Just trying to find someone that can give me a base value that I can use in my will. Oh - it is not a copy of a Rembrandt, it's a copy of a Raphael. Attachment: raphael copy.JPG
