Looking it up. Are you sure there is no gold mark?
It has 24K. It looks in several places... in script so tiny it's almost made me cross-eyed to detect .... Elsa Peretti ? Could That Be ? I Had To Clean Both Pieces A LOT to see anything at all.
All's Calm In The Moat. Finally !! More Info On
the Bug. I had to scour the innards of that little dickens. Now I Can Clearly See That It Is Signed (very immaturely, I might add) ENSON. That's about the only thing I've clearly detected so far.
From what I can find the name Enson, is from an Asian Company that sold Jewelry, in the mid 20thC, 40-50-60's. They marked the pieces Enson. They made birds, owls, and other birds and animal pins. I did not find where they made 24kt gold and you said it was pot metal, so I am not sure why it would be marked 24kt unless they lied. I would price this around 40.00, insurance 50.00-60.00. I saw one on Rubylane that has real stones and 14kt gold they priced it 500.00 but, I am not sure they will sell that for that amount. There are some on Etsy that are listed for around 25.00.
If I can be of any further help, please feel free contacting me, if there is a problem with my answer please feel free contacting me before leaving a negative feedback, any problem can be resolved.
New Rating System, Explanation:Please Rate Me Only, not the Website.
Also, please rate my service to you not the price I have to report, I cannot control what we find in recorded information on sells, and not all areas are recorded so values can vary.
I am a appraiser who is a user of the site to answer questions for customers who come here. I do my very best to offer you the most current values and any information I can find for you.
A good feed back rating lets JustAnswer/ Pearl know I did my job and therefore I get credit and compensation for my work. At no additional cost to the customer. Please leave a good feed back ( 3 stars and above, or 3 smiley faces and above, not "Helped a little" or "I expected more" or "Bad Service", "Poor Service" I am not sure which one may be used ) it is very much appreciated, unless you do not feel a good feedback is warranted, then please let me know what else I can do for you, ( if anything ) to help get a good feedback by, clicking on the " Continue the Conversation Link". My good rating is very important to me and something I strive to keep.
And if you would like to use me on any further questions. It works much better putting my name ( Glenda ) in your question , then I will be sure to get it. Requesting me expires in just a short time.
It has been a pleasure working for you, I look forward to it again.
Thank you so much
Did you find an answer on the 3 birds on a branch ? I think I confused you with the 24 k thing, that was on the birds, not the bug.
Tell me again what the birds on a branch has marked on it. And is it 24kt?
I do not think it is Elsa Peretti , she is big time designer and I searched all of her stuff and could not find where she made any costume jewelry , she usually designs for Tiffany. I do not know why this is marked 24kt when you said you tested it and it did not test gold , right ? I cannot find who could have made this but, there are a few out there like this, I would price this around 40.00, insurance 50.00-60.00. I saw one on Rubylane that has real stones and 14kt gold they priced it 500.00 but, I am not sure they will sell that for that amount. There are some on Etsy that are listed for around 25.00. If this is 24kt then I would raise the price on this.
I am so glad you got out, I would hate to think my favorite customer got eaten by alligators. I would be so sad.
