Richard, I looked in my Encyclopedia of Artist and Monograms by Bob Creps of over 100 entries and your artist was not listed. And I could not find the artist in my online

An unlisted artist is usually an unknown local artist or an aspiring artist. Given the age of the piece, I have to assume the artist falls under the first category. This being the case, I would estimate that this piece has a current market value of 256 - 385 GBP .

I recall many years ago one of the series of the seasons appeared on "the Antigues Road show" I wasn;t expecting it and have forgotten who they said it was painted by. I will take "spring" to the show being filmed in Chepstow this coming week. Though mine appears to be old I doubt that it is an original, but will let you know how I get on.
