Customer Question

I have 3 German steins that I would like to get an appraisal for and sell if possible. I was told that they were picked up in Germany during the time of WWI and WWII.

Hi,

The image that you have uploaded is too large. If you could repost at a reduced size I can help you.

Not sure how to do that, will try.

You did great. Are there any marks on the bottoms of these steins?

Customer replied374 days and 11 hours ago.

left one - KURT HAMMER with cursive K in green square
middle - no
right - nothing except l-l0.51 on the outside top of the ceramic

The first 2 a regimental steins. Open the lids and look at the bottoms of these steins, do they have images at the bottom? If so these are called litho panes. There are many reproductions of these, however; yours appear to be older without seeing them in person. I would place the value of the one on the left $200-300, and the next at $200-300, the one on the right $50-100. These prices could vary at auction especially the first 2, if they are the right regiment and 2 people bid on them, they could go higher.

Same last question for these. Where do I go to sell them if I decide to? Do you look for local auction houses? Ebay?

Ebay seems to be a good choice. They seem to be selling there.
Thanks,
