I have 3 teapots in Burslem pottery Entitled Little Old Lady

Resolved Question:

I have 3 teapots in Burslem pottery Entitled "Little Old Lady" Made by HJ Woods Ltd. England. It has a Reg. No. 827653. My mother had them probably since the1940's. Do they have any value? all are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The glaze at the bottom of the pots have those hairline lines.
Thank you.

Michelle :

Hello, Michelle here. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

Michelle :

Your teapots were made by H.J. Wood Ltd. in Burslem England which began operation around 1884. Your mark was used from about 1948.

Michelle :

In a good market these would sell for around $75 USD each

Michelle :

The crazing in the glaze has no effect on the value

Customer:

Anything else you can tell me about them? the ones I have are apple green. Yellow and one is : purple skirt, Yellow umbrella, and green cape

Michelle :

They can in a solid cream color as well as a variety and combination of colors.

Michelle :

H.J. Wood Ltd, later became Wood and Son but went in to receivorship in 2005.

Michelle :
