Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Can you please press and hold (or slide and hold) the power on / off button / switch on your kindle for about 45 seconds, then turn it back on and check.

- Is there anything showing on the kindle's screen after doing the above step?

Is there any power light? How old is your kindle?

If needed, please connect your kindle to a computer, if you have, in order to charge the kindle through the computer, then hold the power button / switch hard this time for about 60 seconds, then turn it back on and check.

- If there is hardware issue, is your kindle under warranty?

- If needed, you can read your kindle books on your computer, if you have one, at the Amazon website below:

https://read.amazon.com

- If needed, you can read your kindle books using the Kindle app on a tablet or smartphone, if you have one. (You can download / install the Kindle app in Play Store or App Store on your tablet or smartphone.)
