It's locked & I don't think I used a password, just a fingerprint. Now it's asking for a password ***** my phone restarted.
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: Very new, only had it a couple of months Galaxy S7
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It won't let me do anything without entering a password.

Hi my name is ***** ***** ill be helping you today. Here is what your going to need to do to attempt to get back into your phone.

  1. Go to the Android Device Manager from a computer --> https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
  2. Find your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge on the screen
  3. Enable “Lock & Erase” feature
  4. Then follow the given steps on the page to lock your phone
  5. Set a temporary password
  6. Enter the temporary password
  7. Create a new password
