Your email server settings need to be correct for the Email app on Kindle Fire to send and receive emails. Contact your email service provider for more information about the server settings needed to setup your email.

If your service provider's email settings have changed, you may need to reconfigure the settings in the Email app.

  1. From Home, tap Apps, and then tap Email.
  2. From your inbox, tap the Menu icon, and then tap Settings.
  3. Tap your email account, and then select Incoming settings.
  4. Enter your server settings, and then tap Done.
  5. If needed, tap Outgoing settings (if available).
  6. Enter your server settings, and then tap Done.
