Okay, are you trying to sync the google contacts or just email?

Customer: replied 21 days ago.
Just email. I've gone into Google settings and cked the turn on auto synch and did the same thing under Personal on the actual phone. I've cked up to 90 days of mail. Nothing is hapening.

Maybe I"m trying to synch too many days of email????
Expert:  Randy Boman replied 20 days ago.

No, it should sync all of your mail automatically.

  1. Make sure that you have the same Gmail installed on your device.
  2. Go to Settings, then go to ‘Accounts and Sync’.m ake sure that it is the same email address.
Expert:  Randy Boman replied 20 days ago.

Also let me know if you installed the Gmail app please.

When you say device, do you mean my dell laptop or my samsung smart phone? The gmail has been previously installed on the smartphone.
Expert:  Randy Boman replied 20 days ago.

Device meaning Samsung smartphone.

Follow these steps on your Samsung S7 please>

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower-right).
  2. Tap Settings.

  6. Tap the appropriate data synchronization options (e.g. Sync Contacts, Sync Gmail, Sync Calendar, etc.) to enable .

Hi,
I'm sorry about the issue. I'm another tech; I will help you with this.

Is there any error or message?

Do you mean you receive new emails fine on the Samsung cell phone, but not on the Dell laptop?

Does your Dell laptop have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10?

If you go to the gmail.com website on the Dell laptop, and sign in your gmail email address if prompted, then do you receive new emails at the gmail.com website?
