Thank you for showing up so very promptly....doesn't happen too often at any site anymore..... my Acer Iconia windows tablet doesn't take a charge any longer.....it does run when I have it plugged in to electricity....just no charge would it be the battery or the mini port

Customer: It is a W1-810 2 years now
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It just started not taking charge during the last couple months

Since it works while it is plugged in, it is very likely that the issue is your battery and not the charging port.

I would suggest that you purchase a new battery which should fix your issue.
