my asus tablet is frozen and cannot even get it to do hard reboot
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Asus 7 in about 1 1/2 years old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Have tried to reboot it but that does not work
JA: Anything else you want the Android expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: It has frozen on and off for past month but after period of time would work. Its frozen on the main pge but swipe area is frozen and whole face is frozen

It sounds as if it has a heat-sensitive problem in its electronics. This would account for it working after being On (warmed up) for a period of time.

What problem does it currently have? I advise leaving it On, for at least 15 minutes, before trying anything further with it.

Has not worked x 24 hours. Can get a start up screen but screen frozen. I was able to get a reboot icon but when tried to reboot just shut off and when able to open was no change
