I am unable to access Google play store on my Asus tablet. Can you help?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Asus not sure of model or age as I bought it online
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Since I received it. I've tried a number of different solutions on this site
JA: Anything else you want the Android expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No just want to know how to fix it

okay, do you get an error message when trying to sign in to the google play store?

It says server error and then there is a button underneath that says retry but does nothing

okay, try these steps please>Go to Settings>Apps>All. Then select Google Play Store> Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Then Go to Settings>Apps>All. Then select Download Manager> Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop.
Then go to Settings>Accounts, remove your Google account completely, then add it back. Then try the Play Store again.

you can also try a reset>

Step1. Select the "Settings" option.

Step2. Select the "Backup & reset" from Setting menu.

Step3. Select "Factory Reset"

Step4. Touch the "Reset tablet" button.
