If you have a leather case on your Kindle; Please remove it before performing the steps below.
Please press and hold down the power button for 25-30 seconds until the Kindle restarts

Are you 100% sure that you are using the correct Wi-Fi password?
Which Kindle model do you have?
If you open your Wi-Fi list, it will show your network. To the very right of your network, there should be an arrow. You can click on that then select FORGET NETWORK and it will remove the password ***** was saved from before.
Let's try a factory reset then...
