Hi ,

My name is***** am sorry to hear that you are having this issue.

I will be glad to assist you with this.

Try this first please>

  1. Press the reset button on your device with a paper clip or Stylus. Is going to be a small button or hole on the device.
  2. Hold it down for just a second.
  3. Look on the screen and you should see a re-loading screen.
  4. Check the device for normal operation.

Let me know if this works please.

Where is the reset button?
Expert:  Randy Boman replied 3 months ago.

Unfix the rubber strip on the right-hand side of the device.

• Unscrew the removable cap of the stylus – it will serve you as a

reset pin.

Note: The Reset button can also be accessed with any thin

object such as a paper clip

This is the speechguard phone and it doesn't have a stylus or rubber strip. There're no strip that comes off. In the back of the phone, There's a circle with a hole in the center and I tried pressing that and nothing has happened.

Tried that it didn't work. Is there anything else?
Expert:  Randy Boman replied 3 months ago.

Try removing the battery for about 1 minute. Then reinsert the battery.

Is there anything else I can do?
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
We tried all of these things. The phone is hard and covered in plastic. When we plug in the power cord a picture of the battery of 100 percent shows up which means the screen is working but not the on and off button.

Unfortunately those are the only options.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
There's no series of buttons you can press to recover it.

Ok thanks. ***** can get it going.

Removing the battery is a hard reset, and holding the power button is also a way to clear the residual power in case of a glitch with the firmware.

I will check and see if there is another button combination however I believe the reset button is the only one. Some models have the power button and reset button at the same time for a factory reset.
