If you are referring to the March 22 deadline by Amazon, then you don't have to worry. Kindle Fire(s) are not affected. You will be able to continue to use Amazon services without any problems. Only other e-readers are affected by this requirement. Amazon send this as general notice to all Kindle owners.

Kindle Fire(s) are deigned to update the latest software automatically. So either way, you will be OK.
