I would like to speak to a real person. I have gotten e-mails telling me that i need to update my Kindle in order to receive books. I thought i had done that, and i got another e-mail telling me that i need to update when i thought i already had. HELP!!!

Have you had any specific problem with purchasing/downloading books?
Initially, go into the kindle and run the SYNC function - do you get any errors?
If you go into the kindle settings menu under device/about, what does it show as the current software version?
