Are you able to access the home screen, apps, settings etc ? Have you tried taking out the SIM card and putting it back ?
This is an issue with the carrier network settings. Lets check some settings. Go to Settings tap Call and is the WiFi Calling on ?
Can you try a different SIM ? This will tell us if the problem is on carrier end or your phone, so we can troubleshoot your phone
Who is your carrier ? AT&T, T-Mobile tec
Is there any way to get another SIM card, just to check ?
When did this problem start ?
Do you have network coverage in your phone ? If there is no coverage, it will switch to Emergency mode
Now go to Settings > Mobile Network and what network mode is selected ?
I mean do you have network coverage in your home* ?
Change it to GSM and reboot your phone. Does it get signal ?
I still believe the issue is with network, not with phone. Is there any way you can get another SIM card ? of another carrier ?
It is possible that your phone is not getting 3G or LTE coverage. Keep testing your phone in GSM mode. Let me know the results please

It is an issue with network in your area not with phone since it is working in other places. Can you call Metro PCS and ask them if your phone need any re provisioning ?
Try with another SIM as well. If other SIM is not working, then we can troubleshoot the phone.
