Hi there,
Try pressing and holding the power button only for 20 seconds.

Let me know if that allows the tab to power off and restart it again...

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
No have tried that as well

Hello. My name is***** can provide you with additional assistance.

It's actually the power up button on this device that should bring you into recovery mode. Here are all the steps:

1. Turn the device off.
2. Press the Volume Up Key and then press
the Power/Lock Key at the same time until
the device switches on.
Tip: Volume Up is the end closest to the Power/Lock Key.
3. Once the SAMSUNG logo appears, release the Power/
Lock key while continuing to press the Volume Up key.
4. Continue to press the Volume Up key until the Android
system recovery screen displays.
5. Release the Volume Up key.

Then the battery must be shot. They don't consider it user replaceable, but I do.

In fact, it's pretty easy. They consider anything with screws in it to be non-user serviceable, but it's a 10 minute job. Just make sure you get the samsung brand battery as a replacement - which is here for only $13:

I would appreciate a moment of your time to rate my level of service at your convenience.

How do I get to the battery their are no screws
Expert:  Michael Hannigan replied 11 months ago.

You have to carefully pry the back of it off. It is not held in place by screws. Be careful because there may be some adhesive on it.
