I keep getting a virus alert on my phone. Is this a true alert or a scam

Sometimes when I try to make a call. Or to try and get into a couple apps..But this time it said came from Google and to get the app to clean it up..my SD card could be compermized

No I don't thing so. Sometimes it just comes on with no warning.How do I get this to stop

If it's a real piece of spyware, you'll need to do a factory reset to get rid of it, as it might be embedded in your system.

  1. Press and hold the power button to turn the device of.
  2. If your device does not respond, remove the battery and put it back after a few seconds. ( Don’t turn it back on )
  3. With your device of press and hold the volume up and the home button, then without releasing the two other buttons press and hold the power button as well.
  4. Hold them depressed until your phone boots with the words Recovery mode in the upper left corner .
  5. To navigate the recovery mode screen use the volume up and down to go up and down. Use the power button to select an option.
  6. Press the volume down button three times until the Wipe data/factory reset option is selected.
  7. Press the power button to select this option.

Yes it will. You can back them up to your computer or other device first.

No not yet unfortunately I can't back up on my computer. And I have to get to bed I get up at 1 am to go to work I'll have to work on it tomorrow thank you for your help
