It turns out that the problem is not with the wireless password. You are referring to the device pin.

You will have to reset the device, which will erase everything on it, including the pin:

- Turn the device off.
- Hold both the Volume up button and the power button.
- Keep both the keys depressed for 5 to 8 seconds.
- The Android Robot will appear.
- Navigate to the "Reset device" option using the volume key.
- Press the Power button to select it.
- Use the volume keys to select to confirm.
- Press the Power button.

After that is complete, all will be good to go.
