Thank you for the update. In this case, the fix is to enter the incorrect password ***** times. After you do that, it will ask you to reset your Kindle. Choose to "Reset" the Kindle, which will erase everything on it, including the password. When that is all complete, you can reconfigure your Kindle Fire and be all set. You will be able to re-download everything that was there before.
