I have my granddaughter's Visual Land Prestige Elite 9Q Tablet with me. She received it for Christmas. She tells me that it will not charge. What can be done to fix it? Susan

Either the battery has turned out to be no good,
Or, the charging circuitry in the tablet has turned out to be no good,
Or, the charger/adapter is broken somehow. (If not visibly broken, this is less probable.)
Since the tablet is less than a year old, it is theoretically covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Which would entitle a claimant who owned the device, to free repairs.
However, as a gift, its warranty status is uncertain. Repair to it might well turn out to be at your cost.
