Hi! My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you. Let's get started!
With the tablet off, push and hold the Power & Volume Down keys (for some terminals this works with the Volume Up button instead).
A small menu will appear. Select the second option, “Recovery Mode”.
Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset from the available options.
Enter Yes to confirm and let the device initialize.

the last time i saw anything on it was about 2 days ago. it showed a battery recharging. i think i might have over charged it, if thyat's possible
Expert:  Josh replied 1 year ago.
Leave the Memopad plugged in for another 5 minutes and try the steps again while it is plugged in.
Make sure to try the Volume Down and if that does not work, try Volume Up as stated in the steps.

which is the volume button, the large or small?
Expert:  Josh replied 1 year ago.
Its the large button. The top is the Volume Up and the bottom of the button is Volume Down.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Does it show any sign of the battery charging?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
when it appears, theres a lightening sign on it
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it seems to appear whether the sound key is up or down and with reset button alone
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
does that mean its charging.? this is silly. you're probably working with several folks at a time and i have to wait a long time for your response. my time is of value too.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
its about a half hour since we began.
Expert:  Josh replied 1 year ago.
Yes, the lightening bolt means that it is charging. Please allow up to 30 minutes now
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
at that rate, even if i said you were excellent, you wouldn't earn much.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm gone.

Let me know if you were able to follow the steps now that the tablet has been plugged in for a long period of time.
