When It said to put in a password XXXXX pin number or something else , I forgot what I just put in the pin number. but now it is asking for the password and i didn' t put one in.

one with the numbers at the bottom and it says enter password XXXXX unlock at the top

Yes I don't think I put one in

We can do a hard reset.

This will reset your tablet back to factory settings

Ok I guess I'm not very technically minded so hope I can do this

Please do the steps below

SVITExperts :

First press and HOLD Power button until the tablet turns off

SVITExperts :

Then press and HOLD Volume Up (+) and Power button AT THE SAME TIME until you see the Pandigital

Customer:

I just held the power button until it went off

When you see the Triangle and the Android man screen, press and Hold Volume Up and Power button again

SVITExperts :

You should see a blue menu

SVITExperts :

This is called Recovery menu

Customer:

Theres no screen at all it is black

Here you can use the volume buttons to scroll up and down

Is it turned off?

I should turn it back on?

Press and HOLD volume up (+) and Power button at the SAME TIME

No it is still locked

press and release the Power button. Still holding Volume Up button

keep holding until you see the triangle screen

nothing is happening

Hold Volume Down (-) button

press and release Power button

while still holding Home and Volume Down buttons

OK i put the pin numbers in and the home screen came back up

If you want to remove the passcode

just select Change passcode to blank

Yes because the number screen was still there so thought I would try them and it worked this time
