I have a AOL e mail XXXXXXXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX and I used to get my e mails on my i phone. I since have changed my phone to a Samsung Galaxy S111 and cannot get any emails. Could you please send me the AOL settings so I can recieve this service. As I am working away from home could please also copy my office XXXXXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX. Thank you XXXXX XXXXXX

There are a couple things that could be going wrong for you. More than likely its both. There is an issue with AOL's email servers and their ability to work well with the stock Android Email app. AOL is outdated and the technology behind their email is as well - but we can resolve this with the use of another(free) email app. Open your Play Store app on your phone and install either K9 Mail or the free version of MailDroid. Once you do, use the following settings to add your AOL email to the app, just open the app and it will ask you to add an email account. Settings: Choose Manual Setup, not Automatic -

Ok, I am going to have to look into why you would possibly be getting that - as those are the correct server settings. I will post as soon as I have any new information for you.
