Is there any way to speed up my Kindle with regard to opening web pages?

It often gets stuck trying to load a page and never gets there.

I just did that and it is still trying to get to the web page. I press on the link and the icon spins around forever but never gets to the page. I usually just shut it off and go to my computer. It is still spinning. :(

Should I turn it off and then turn it back on?

I turned it back on and tried going to wikipedia and the little circle icon on the left of the address box has been spinning for over a minute. Now what?

Customer replied 279 days and 16 hours ago.

Still spinning... Unresponsive to finger clicks or stylus clicks. It's stuck.

Thanks.

Do you have any computer using wifi now?

And you said that you did a factory reset? How did you do that?

Customer replied 279 days and 16 hours ago.

Settings / More / Device / Reset to Factory Defaults.

Customer replied 279 days and 16 hours ago.

Yes, I am conversing with you on a desktop connected to wifi. But I have the same problem with my Kindle even when all other computers are turned off.

This Kindle Fire used to surf the web?

Please turn off your wireless router for 5 minutes. Turn it back on. Test to see if your Kindle Fire can connect to internet. Thank you.

Customer replied 279 days and 16 hours ago.

Ok. But I'll lose you when I do.

I am sorry for delay. When did you buy your Kindle Fire?

You can call them for a replacement if under a year.

Customer replied 279 days and 15 hours ago.

Bummer. I think it's been more than a year. I'll have to check. Thank you for trying.
