There are a number of different locks for this phone, so I need to confirm which lock we are referring to please. Can you confirm from the below three?

- Screen Lock eg: As soon as the phone starts, you are required to enter a code to use it.

- Sim Lock eg: When you try to make a call you need to enter a code to get service on the phone

- Carrier Lock eg: You are trying to use the phone on a different carrier eg: AT&T

the only solution you have to bypass this security is going to result in all the data being deleted on the phone.

There is no other way to do this and it is unavoidable.

Regardless some people get upset about this and refuse to do it (which means their phone stays locked for always) but still I need to check you understand this and you are ok with this before I provide the instructions.

If you can confirm this Sam, I can then give you the instructions to bypass the security.

data meaning my personal numners and pics but will it wor after or u talking bout all the settings in it from factory

Yes Sam, all numbers, pics, everything. It will be returned to how it was when it was new.

If you are ok with this, can you please confirm the make is Samsung please

yes im fine with it cause i just have like 6 numbers and few pics just as long as it sets back to factory settings i can put numbers back in pics are redooable and yes it is a samsung

Can you turn the phone off

Then Press and hold the Volume Up and Power Button for about 5 seconds until the Logo pops up, then release the buttons.

You then see the system recovery menu

Use the Volume Keys to navigate and choose Wipe Data / Factory Reset

Press the Home button (second button on left on the bottom of the phone) to select this

Confirm this by selecting Yes and pressing the Home Button.

It will take a few minutes, then when complete, it will be just like it was when you first received it, with the lock removed.

If you have any difficulties first try it a few times as it can be tricky to do, else please let me know Sam.
