my galaxy 7.7 will not turn on. screen is black

my galaxy 7.7 will not 'turn on'. screen is black. could it be that the battery has been dislodged (this happens sometimes with my phone).

Already Tried:
I have charged the tablet to ensure it is fully charged

Please do a hard reboot to see if this will make your tablet boot normally.

● Make sure tab is turned off, Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds to turn it off.

● Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time

● When logo appears on the screen release the Power button and continue press the Volume Up button.

● Select Reboot system now. Use Volume Up and Volume Down to scroll up and down. Use Power button to select.

● Let your device reboot.

Did you connect your tablet to power charger? If not, please connect charger and repeat the steps 2-3 times. Thank you.

I have been using a USB charging cable and this was charging OK! When you asked me to connect to power, I used the actual power point charger and immediately a picture came up of the battery showing a fine red bar and over the top of the battery, a yellow triangle with a ! inside it. Does this mean in actual fact, the battery is not charged? I will keep it charging for a couple of hours and let you know if I can power it up. I will be very happy if this fixes the issue.

Thank you Nick, my Tablet is now fine. I feel a little embarrassed!! I will now use the full charger and not the USB cable.

I am happy with the result.
