The Google Play Store app on my tablet suddenly quit working. When I tap the icon it won't take me to my apps. It says "application closed." How can it be recovered?
Already Tried: Going into "settings" to look for a resolution. The attempt was futile.

Go into Settings -> Applications -> All -> Google Play Store -> Clear Cache
After that try running it again

I followed your instructions. It was a futile attempt also. After I touched "applications" I wasn't given the option to choose "all" or anything.
Sorry, it wasn't a futile attempt, different launchers are setup differently.
So just stick with me
In Applications, if you see a list of applications, find the Play Store
then select it

I did as you instructed and still nothing. I wasn't given the option totouch play store. Nothing happened at all.
