Customer Question

My Samsung Galaxy S2 is not charging (my PC's not even recognising it when I connect my phone to it) or switching on. When I can finally turn it on, it switches itself off and then on again repeatedly. In some cases it automatically opens the Voice Talk menu.

My battery isn't fully charged, so I can't keep it turned on long enough to figure out what's going on.

A couple of days ago when it was working (albeit a little unstable), I turned the phone off to try and reboot it but instead of switching off to a blank screen, the green Android symbol appeared saying that it was trying to download something (I can't remember the message). I left it for 15 minutes and when the message or symbol wouldn't go away, I took the battery out to try and reboot the phone. The message kept reappearing.

Is the phone completely unusable now?

Many thanks for any help you can provide.

The phone has now switched on but it doesn't stay on for long. It instead keeps switching itself on and off and then back on again (it's doing this as I type). Shall I just press on and follow your latest instructions?
