How do I change the transmission oil on a John Deer Z535M Deck Mower
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: Don't have that information
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We are wanting to know if there is a drain plug or the machine has to be turned over the the oiol drained out of the filler hole

Deere says the two transmissions are not serviceable by the owner, other than checking and adding required fluid. There is a filter that has cover on the bottom, to access the filter, but it is not shown in owners manual, but filter is shown in parts book. Personally ,I would not drain the oil or change the filter!
