my 1992 Kabota 4WD has suddenly stopped producing any drive to the front wheels. its an M5030 if that helps.

Have you checked the actual drive shaft from the transmission to the front axle? Usual problem is a broken coupler or shear pin at either end of the drive shaft.

The linkage engages the front gear, and the shaft transfers power to the front wheels.
