Customer Question

I recently replaced the pto clutch on my L120. It worked fine for a few weeks and today it just stopped again. It is a really hot day and the clutch seems really hot. What should I do

Check for voltage to the clutch with key on, engine OFF and pto switch on. Should Have battery voltage, if not then you have voltage problem. Clutch is going to get as hot as the engine, as it is attached to the crankshaft.

It has voltage, but just like last pto it seemed to work intermittently when it was not hot.

It does have a relay in the pto circuit, that the RIO switch works with. ( RIO, reverse cutout.)

it is fine

This does not seem to be going any where so please refund my deposit. Thanks for trying but I have already tried all you have suggested.

Do you have voltage to the new clutch? If you do, new clutch has failed!
