I have a stx38 JD mower and the ignition relay always

i have a stx38 JD mower and the ignition relay always blows.I've replace the relay twice and it continues to short/blow.It runs fine for a start period then shutoff and never starts again.No click .Nothing.
i bypass the relay by connecting directly to the starter and disconnect the kill switch to the ignition mod.

Can you bypass the relay? Yes, relay can be bypassed. it i there to protect the keyswitch from starting amperage. You say when you shut it off, it won't do anything? And the fuse did not blow?
