Does the mower track in a straight line or does it veer to one direction?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Tracks In straight line with both levers all the way forward.
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
When going up a hill under load the left side looses power
Expert:  Bradley Martin replied 6 months ago.
Have you changed the hydraulic filter lately?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
No John deer says it only gets replaced if your replacing a part like the wheel motor or pump.
Expert:  Bradley Martin replied 6 months ago.
How many hours is on this mower?
Expert:  Bradley Martin replied 6 months ago.
It sounds like a bad motor since it is only losing power on one wheel it should not be the pump that would cause power to be lost on both wheels under load you can verify the motor by swapping the left and the right and see if the problem moves to the right wheel.

350 hours on motor
Expert:  Bradley Martin replied 6 months ago.
Wow that is not many hours at all for a motor to start giving problems I would swap the motors and see if the problem moves before you go buy a 600 dollar motor

Let me know what you find out
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Ok is there any special
Procedure required to do that in regards ***** ***** hydronic fluid or just swap them and top off re savior?
Expert:  Bradley Martin replied 6 months ago.
Just swap and top off fluid should just have to pull wheels off and there are 4 bolts that hold the motors and 2 hydraulic lines this should tell us if it is a motor problem which I am betting the problem will move to the right side just want to be sure
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I agree with your train of thought due to the pricing of parts. I'll let you know what I find I won't have time to do that till
Next week.

Ok just message me back on what you find out

Can the wheel motors be rebuilt on those? Or do u have to buy complete replacement?
Expert:  Bradley Martin replied 6 months ago.
The motors will have to be replaced they can not be rebuilt let me know when you get around to working on it
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
