I am rebuilding a ford tractor diesel 256 engine tractor

Resolved Question:

I am rebuilding a ford tractor diesel 256 engine for 6600 tractor when I removed the balance shafts I assumed they had marks to line them back up so how do i know I have them in time?

Number 1 and 4 at TDC, position balancer weights straight down. Install with original shims and tighten bolts to 51-58 ft-lbs, if no scribe marks, you put them on ,or use a paint stick
