Remove actuator and see if you can manually move the rack./ Is the actuator pin in place that ties it to the rack?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

If rack is not free, one of the injectors may be stuck!

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
there is not anything that attaches the actuator rod to the fuel rack .
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the fuel rack does move freely and I think the spring on the fuel rack is what pushes the rack out not the actuator .
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Actuator has a lever that moves the rack when it is actuated, with key in and off. No direct connection, but it has to move the rack, the rack is spring loaded, so if actuator does not move, rack stays in no fuel position. Does rack move back and forth?
