Customer Question

Question concerning JD 2305 FEL Control Lever stuck
Submitted: 1 year ago.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have JOhn Deere 2305, the FEL Control lever that works the hydraulics is stuck and doesn't seem to move. I have no hydraulic movement for the front. However, the rear hydraulics work. The last time I used the FEL it worked find. I took it off cleaned up tractor and only have mowed last three weeks. Went to put bucket on and got nothing from the control lever.

I looked at the linkages and everything that connects and there is no debris or anything that appears to be jamming it.

Neither boom nor bucket spool moves? This the single joystick for both controls?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

If both are stuck, likely the linkage is stuck on the joystick. If one spool moves and the other is stuck, then the lower cover on that spool needs to be removed. Problem will be in the return spring area.
