Hello and thank you for using Just Answer.
The oil goes by many names, but it is all the same with minor variations in additives, TDH, Tractor Hydraulic Fluid, All-Trac 245(Amalie), UTF (universal tractor fluid). Easiest for you to happen across would be what Walmart calls Super Tech Heavy Duty Tractor Hydraulic and Transmission Fluid (click me!)
Experience: 16+ years experience, hydraulics, hydrostatics, engines, fuel injection systems. And everything in between.
OK,but how do i know if it is full, i dont se a dipstick or way to know that its full, only a fill cap on top ,just behind the gear shift?
Sitting in the seat, look down and forwards, there should be a plug in the center transmission section, I believe it takes a 1/2" ratchet to loosen the plug (it has a 1/2" square hole in it), once removed, the oil should be about 4 inches below that hole you just took the plug out of. Also, if you are lucky, some models have a sight glass in the left side of the center case, near the vicinity of the clutch pedal. If your's has the sight glass, the oil should be about midway in the glass, with the tractor running at idle in neutral.JBFixxer41095.0474023148
