My Kubota BX23 has sputtered ((puffs of white smoke) and died. Will not restart. It could have water in fuel.
Already Tried: Added some fresh fuel. (Gallon approx.). Used jumper cables and tried to restart.
The unit has electric fuel shutoff solenoid, just behind the injection pump. It has to open the fuel passage when the key is turned on.
Check this solenoid to see if it has battery power.
Looks like this.
If it has power, remove it and see if engine will start, you will have to re-install it to kill engine.
Check the fuel at the injection pump and be sure you have good flow to the injection pump.
If yoy have flow, it will not be the fuel or filter.
Let me know. Thank you.
