I have a BX-24 with 60 mow deck. I winterized the machine (removed the mow deck) and installed front end loader and back how for snow removal. Earlier this spring I reset for mowing by re-installing the mow deck and removing the front end loader (FEL) and backhoe (BH). hydralics for FEL and BH were working fine when removed, but the mow deck hydraulics are non function. I check the hydraulic fluid level and it was slighty low so I topped off. Still no function. I can see the lever arm rotates the drive mech for the mow deck lift function. Any idea on what the problem might be?
Already Tried: Ensuring hydraulic system full of fluid. History of hydraulic system. It developed a large leak in on of the hydralic lines which was rubbing against the drive shaft the winter of 2011. I discovered and replaced the line that spring. Refilled the hydraulic system and the BX-24 work fine hydraulically all summer, fall and winter until this issue. When refilling the fluid I discovered that the dip stick had disolved in the hole some what- so I bought a new one.
Check the links coming from the three point lift, I think you will find hey need to go under the brackets on the deck, I feel you have them above, so they do not move the deck. They should be under, to lift the deck, then when you lower the three point arms the weight of the deck will let it go down.
