Customer Question

Hi Andrew. I have an '05 TL and need the NAVI s/n. I tried map/cancel/guide and that does not work. Any other suggestions? Where on the DVD unit is the S/N?

Have you also tried holding the 1 and 6 buttons then pressing the power on button?

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
1 + 6 + power is for the radio s/n. Did that yesterday. I found that video yesterday. guide+menu+cancel does not work.

Pull the nav unit and it should be on a sticker on the back.

Customer: replied 19 days ago.
The nav unit in the trunk? How do you pull it? I can see how to open the cover for the DVD player but there are no visible fasteners on the inside.
Expert:  Dan replied 19 days ago.

I am referring to the unit in the dash.

Customer: replied 18 days ago.
The unit in the dash is the display. The S/N is on the bottom of the unit in the trunk. I just pulled the trunk unit, got the S/N and from that the navi unlock code so it's working now.

Glad you were able to get the code. Please rate the answer and it would be appreciated, this is how I receive credit for my time. Remember it can be difficult to diagnose and help without being there in person, but I tried to help the best that I could. Thanks.
