Your radio code is 13552

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It let me put only 4 digits
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Disconnect both battery cables (positive and negative) and hold them together for 15 minutes. Then reconnect one at a time, positive first then negative. This should reset the system.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Still not working
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

The system did not give me a nav code. Does the radio code I gave you work for the radio? Have you looked in the maintenance history book in the glove box?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
No I haven't check the history
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

It should be on the 2nd page.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Battery wire are to short to reach each other
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

You might have to use a jumper wire.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Connect the positive to be positive n negative to the negative?
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Remove both from battery and touch them together, positive to negative.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Do I still have to wait for 15 min with the jumper cable
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Yes.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It still didn't work still asking for a 4 digit code
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Do I enter it in on the navi dash or the buttons saying 1-6
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Buttons 1 to 6

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Can u stake me step by step please how to enter it in
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Simply enter the code on the radio, it will say error 1 if not entered correctly.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Do I need to have the power button on n the screen display code
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Yes

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I just type in the code correct with it saying code on the screen
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

There may be a separate nav code, but its not giving the nav code on the website to get the codes. Sometimes this will be on a small card in the glove box, otherwise its written in maintenance history if you have it.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I mean I just have to type in the code like how it has 1-6 I just type in13552 correct?
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Yes

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
If it says error 1 do I just type in the code again
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Yes, each letter in the word error represents a digit 13552, 5 letters=5 digits.

Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

You need to start with no letters of the word error showing on the display.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Ok I did now it's stuck on error but when I put in the first number which is 1 it beeps
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

If it beeps it means its resetting and telling you to start over.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Do I wait til the beep stop
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
My code is 13552 n it beep every time I type in 1
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
what do I do
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

I will opt for another expert to help shortly, We tried, but I have no more ideas.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.

Welcome to Just Answer My name is***** here to help you with your problem. Ok lets back up a little. first the navi code is seperate from the radio code and it is 4 digits . To get this code you will need to remove the DVD unit in the trunk and give me the serial number from the white tag on the bottom of the unit. Then I can get the code. The radio code must be put in from the correct starting place . So disconnect the battery for a few min until the radio reads "code" again then press the preset buttons on the radio in order of the code . The beep is the end of the sequence so you should not hear it until the last number is ***** in. Here are a couple of videos that show how

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
But when I press 1 it beeps cuz my code is 13552
Expert:  acramstr replied 2 months ago.

Does it say code when you start? if you input the whole code does it say ERR ? I can check that you have the correct code in the morning when the site opens up. Press 1 and 6 again and give me the whole code with the letters if there are any.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
when I start it up it does say whole code but when I put in the code cuz it it start with 1 it beeps the other mechanic says that if I heard the beep it was resetting
Expert:  acramstr replied 2 months ago.

Did you watch the video I sent you? does it look the same as when they put the code in? Did you press 1 and 6 to get me the numbers again

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
it does but my code waster with the number one which I think it's a reset bytton
Expert:  acramstr replied 2 months ago.

there is no reset button just the code , I think you might have the wrong code that is why I wanted the letters and numbers from the radio again. Also I need the navigation serial number to get you the navi code.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Radio serial is 11132890
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
U1113L2890
Expert:  acramstr replied 2 months ago.

Ok, you have the correct radio code . Turn the radio "on" the screen should say CODE . If it does try again using the radio preset buttons just like the video I sent you says . tell me what the screen says after you put the entire code 13552 in one time
